Martha Minow is an American legal scholar and served as the Dean of Harvard Law School from 2009 to 2017. She is currently the 300th Anniversary University Professor at Harvard University. Minow is known for her expertise in human rights, advocacy for disadvantaged groups, and legal philosophy.
She has written numerous books and articles on topics such as forgiveness and reconciliation in law, human rights, and the legal rights of children. Minow has also been actively involved in various human rights organizations and was appointed by President Barack Obama to the board of the Legal Services Corporation.
Minow graduated from the University of Michigan and received her J.D. from Yale Law School. She has been recognized for her work with numerous awards and honors, including being elected as a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
